I loved 1986 when the New York Daily News published a daily magic number update with Davey Johnson pulling a rabbit out of a cap. I wanted something like that for 2015. So my brother made it for me. And now we want to share it with the world.

The Mets beat the Marlins 12-1, but the Giants and Cardinals also won (all three teams scored 12 runs) so the magic number drops by 1, to 4, with 4 games to play.
