I loved 1986 when the New York Daily News published a daily magic number update with Davey Johnson pulling a rabbit out of a cap. I wanted something like that for 2015. So my brother made it for me. And now we want to share it with the world.

The Mets beat the Reds 12-5 (thanks to 3 3-run homers, 2 by Lucas Duda) and the Nationals lost to the Phillies, 8-2. The magic number falls to 1 with 8 games remaining, The next Mets win or Nationals loss makes the Mets 2015 NL East Champions.
